DropBy

A location-based social network designed to foster new connections based on the places you visit. People often overlook the potential for meaningful connections that exist in their immediate physical environment. Our app is designed to bridge that gap, making it easier than ever to meet like-minded individuals who share your interests, all based on where you are and where you’ve been. Here’s how it works: 1. DropBy Your Location: Whenever you visit a place—whether it’s a airport, mall, park, concert, networking event or any other spot you feel has potential for meeting new people—you simply DropBy/drop your CURRENT location (check in). The app allows you to easily checkin at your current location, indicating that you’re at a specific venue or within a particular area. It’s a quick and seamless process, designed to integrate naturally into your day-to-day activities. Whether you’re at a local event, grabbing a coffee, or simply out for a walk, you can use the app to drop your current location and open the door to new connections. 2. Explore Nearby Profiles: Once you’ve dropped your current location, you can connect later even when you leave the location. The app will show you the profiles of other users who have also checked in at the same place or within a specific radius around that location. You’ll see profiles of people who were around the same vicinity/area, at similar times, and may share common interests or experiences. It's an exciting way to connect with individuals who might have been there but you didn't get a chance to interact with in person. 3. Connect with Like-Minded People: The app not only helps you discover potential connections based on your physical environment, but it also allows you to connect with others who share similar passions. Whether you’re looking to make new friends or network professionally, the app fosters genuine connections that are grounded in real-world experiences. The idea is to break down the barriers of digital space and create more authentic, in-person relationships that can flourish beyond the screen. 4. User-controlled, Safe and Secure: Connect when and where you want - Your profile will be visible to others and they can see yours, only when you choose to check-in at a particular location. We prioritize your privacy and safety in social networking. Our app safeguards your personal information by ensuring your exact location and check-in time remain private. This allows you to connect with others at your own comfort level. We are committed to fostering genuine connections while upholding the highest standards of privacy and security.
