Full description

LifeFriends is a trust-first elder-assistance platform that connects older adults (60+) with verified younger helpers (18–35) for specific, real-world tasks: errands, grocery shopping, reading aloud, photo organising, light cooking, and similar practical support. Whether it's running errands, taking the bus to a medical appointment, or getting help around the home, LifeFriends makes it safe, simple, and affordable to find a verified helper who can take care of the practical things that often go undone as we age. HOW IT WORKS For Older Adults (SoulBirds): • Browse verified helpers and their service packages • Book one-time sessions or subscribe for recurring weekly help • Attend curated FlexSpot events - wellness outings, anniversaries, community gatherings • Coordinate visits securely in-app during active bookings • Invite family members to co-pay or co-manage the booking For Helpers (LifeBirds): • Create a profile and pass identity verification (KYC) • Choose your services from a curated list of approved assistance activities • Set your own pricing and availability • Get booked by older adults in your area • Earn transparently, track your income, and withdraw to your bank account • Optionally join curated events as a paid helper BUILT ON TRUST & SAFETY • Every helper is identity-verified - government ID, selfie check, and admin manual review • Services are selected from a locked, admin-curated activity catalog - no free-text offerings • All coordination happens within the app - no personal contact info is exchanged • In-app messaging is service-bound and auto-expires when the service ends • Payments are processed securely - no cash exchanges, no off-platform transfers • Admin oversight on every critical action: verifications, withdrawals, abuse reports TRANSPARENT PAYMENTS • Pay per booking or set up a recurring weekly service • All prices shown upfront, no hidden fees • Helpers earn fairly with clear commission visibility • Secure withdrawals to verified bank accounts LifeFriends is more than an app - it's a safety net for older adults who need a hand with day-to-day tasks, and a fair earning platform for young adults who want to make a difference in their community.
