NuboDrive

NuboDrive connects your Android phone or tablet to the Nextcloud cloud you get from your internet provider or your company. Your photos and videos are saved to your server automatically, and all your files are at hand in a single app, without relying on third-party clouds. AUTOMATIC PHOTO AND VIDEO BACKUP • Photos upload on their own, in the background, even with the screen off. • Picks up where it left off and never uploads the same photo twice. • Upload only on Wi-Fi or only while charging, if you prefer. • Also works if you grant access to only some of your photos (Android 14 and later). GALLERY • All your photos sorted by month, with fast thumbnails that never get distorted. • New photo and video viewer: zoom, swipe between photos, see the details and where each one was taken. • Multi-select to share, save to your device, exclude from backup or delete in bulk, choosing where to delete from. ALBUMS AND MEMORIES • Memories created automatically from your trips and from what you did “on this day”. • Automatic collections based on what's in your photos: beach, mountains, pets, food… • Places: your photos on the map, grouped by location, using the location stored on your server. • Your albums live in the cloud, plus albums by year and by type (videos, panoramas, screenshots…). SEARCH BY WHAT'S IN YOUR PHOTOS • Type “beach”, “dog” or “cake” and those photos show up, with the reason for each match. It also searches the text in them. • Photos are analyzed on the device itself: they're never sent to any service. • One search for your photos and all the files in your cloud. FREE UP SPACE • Finds duplicate and near-duplicate photos (bursts, crops): compare them side by side and it suggests which one to keep, based on resolution, sharpness and compression. • The ones you delete go to the Nextcloud trash and, on Android 11 and later, to the device trash (30 days). FILES • Browse your whole cloud: upload documents, create folders, rename, move, copy and delete. • PDF editor: draw, highlight, sign, rotate or delete pages, and save over the original. • Document scanner with edge detection and automatic cropping. • Share with a public link, if your server has them enabled. • Pin your favorite folders and files to Home. PROTECT • One VPN for your cloud and, if you want, for everything else. Choose what to protect: just your cloud, safe browsing or all traffic. • Three protection levels: encryption only, blocking malware and phishing, or also adult content. • Check with one tap that the filter is working on your device; if Android's Private DNS bypasses it, the app tells you. • If your server is only reachable from your provider's network, NuboDrive connects Protect automatically; if you turn it off, it stays off. The VPN is provided by your internet provider or your company. PHONE AND TABLET • New design, with a floating tab bar and Protect in the middle. • On tablets, views made for the big screen, in portrait and landscape. • In Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Basque and English, with a language picker. PRIVACY Your photos and files only go to your provider's or your company's server. No ads and no profiling. Photo analysis happens on your device. Your credentials are stored encrypted with the device's own security key, and the app is excluded from Google backup. REQUIREMENTS You need the NuboDrive access provided by your internet provider or your company: email and password, the welcome QR code or a 6-digit code. NuboDrive does not include any storage space.
