OneStart is a simple Android launcher for seniors and older adults. It replaces a busy home screen with large buttons, easy calling, family contact shortcuts, and favorite apps in one clear place. Designed for people who find standard smartphone interfaces difficult to read, navigate, or tap, OneStart makes everyday phone use simpler and more predictable. Key features: • Clean, senior-friendly home screen • Large buttons and easy-to-tap controls • Quick access to favorite Android apps • Family contact shortcuts for direct phone calls • Built-in dial pad and camera • Optional one-tap WhatsApp video calls for configured contacts • Optional floating Home button for returning to OneStart • Optional Volume Lock to restore a user-selected sound level • Three-second hold protection to prevent accidental settings changes • Guided setup tutorial • Support for English, Chinese, German, Spanish, and French Simple family contacts Add important people to the OneStart home screen so they are easier to find and call. Contact details and preferences are stored locally on the device. WhatsApp video calling For a configured family contact, OneStart can optionally check for a matching WhatsApp video-call entry in the phone’s contacts and open that entry when the user taps the WhatsApp button. This feature is always initiated by the user. OneStart does not read chats, collect screen content, upload contacts, answer calls, or place calls in the background. WhatsApp must be installed, and the contact must already be available through the phone’s contacts provider. Volume Lock Volume Lock can restore media, ringtone, notification, and call volume to a level selected by the user. It is optional and can be turned off at any time. Privacy and control OneStart explains why a permission is needed before requesting it. Core launcher settings, family contacts, and preferences stay on the device. VIP features are available during a 7-day trial and can then be unlocked with an optional one-time purchase. Basic launcher features remain available after the trial. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. OneStart is designed for seniors, older adults, family-supported phones, and anyone looking for a simple launcher with big buttons, large controls, easy calls, and a clearer Android home screen. OneStart is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp.
