Count cash without losing your place. Indian Cash Denomination turns a pile of notes and coins into an exact total. Enter how many of each denomination you have and the app does the arithmetic — the running total, the number of pieces, and the amount written out in words, updated as you type. Built for anyone who counts cash at the end of the day: shopkeepers, cashiers, petrol pump attendants, temple and gurudwara volunteers, teachers collecting fees, event organisers, accountants and anyone splitting money at home. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Every denomination in circulation on one screen — ₹500, ₹200, ₹100, ₹50, ₹20, ₹10, ₹5, ₹2 and ₹1. • One row per denomination. ₹20, ₹10 and ₹5 circulate as both a note and a coin, and they are worth the same either way, so you count them together instead of twice. • Tap + and − or type a number directly. Both work, whichever is faster for you. • See the total in figures and in words (lakh and crore, not millions) as you count. • Attach a date and an account holder name so a count means something later. • Save the count and come back to it. Nothing is lost when you close the app. • Share a clean, aligned breakdown to WhatsApp, SMS or email in one tap. THE DETAIL VIEW Open any saved count and you get the full picture, not just a number: every denomination with its count and value, what share of the total each one represents, how many pieces you counted, and the amount in words ready to copy onto a deposit slip. Your counts stay on your device. ABOUT THE ₹2000 NOTE The Reserve Bank of India withdrew the ₹2000 note from circulation in May 2023, so it is no longer offered when you start a new count. Counts you saved before then still show their ₹2000 notes exactly as you entered them — nothing was rewritten or removed. NOTES This app is an independent counting tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Reserve Bank of India or any bank. It does not ask for any account details and needs no sign-in. The only permission it requests is internet access, which is used to show ads.
