NotThereApp helps you stay undisturbed when you need quiet time by automatically screening incoming calls according to settings you choose. Whether you are resting, in a meeting, at work, on vacation, or simply do not want to be disturbed, NotThereApp lets you define when contacts should be treated as unavailable. You can apply this to individual contacts or All Contacts and schedule unavailable periods. AUTOMATIC CALL HANDLING AND OPTIONAL SMS REPLIES When you set a contact or All Contacts to “Unavailable”, NotThereApp can automatically block incoming calls from those contacts without requiring you to interact with the phone when a call arrives. If you enable the optional SMS reply feature, NotThereApp can also automatically send a reply selected or written by you when the call is blocked. For example: “I’m sorry I can’t take your call right now. I’m currently unavailable and will get back to you when possible.” When that person calls during your unavailable period, NotThereApp automatically handles the call and sends your selected reply. This lets you remain undisturbed while informing the caller that you are temporarily unavailable instead of simply ignoring the call. This automatic behavior is an important part of NotThereApp’s unavailable-call functionality. Manually rejecting each call and then opening a messaging app to send a reply would interrupt the quiet period you configured the app to provide. Automatic SMS replies are optional and disabled by default. SEND_SMS permission is requested in context only when you explicitly choose to use this feature. SPAM PROTECTION AND CALL BLOCKING NotThereApp also provides local spam detection and call protection. Incoming calls can be evaluated locally using NotThereApp’s spam-protection rules. Based on your selected spam-risk threshold and protection mode, suspected spam calls can automatically be silenced or blocked. You can also mark individual phone numbers as spam so future calls from those numbers can be handled automatically according to your settings. Optional protection is also available for anonymous or hidden numbers and incoming calls from foreign numbers. PRIVACY Call screening, spam processing, contact management and SMS processing are performed locally on your device. NotThereApp does not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Your contacts, call information, spam list and SMS content are not uploaded to external servers for these functions. PERMISSIONS Call-screening access is used to evaluate incoming calls and allow, silence or block them according to your availability and call-protection settings. SEND_SMS is used only for the optional automatic SMS reply feature. Permission is requested only when you explicitly choose to use this feature. When enabled, your selected SMS reply can be sent automatically after NotThereApp handles an incoming call, allowing you to remain undisturbed while informing the caller that you are unavailable.
