NorthPoint is the app your crew uses on site. Your employer sends you a code, you type it once, and the day's work is on your phone — no password to remember. WHAT YOU DO WITH IT Clock in and out. Start your day, take a break, come back, finish. The app records where you were when you clocked in, so nobody has to take anybody's word for it. See the day's work. Everything scheduled for you today, in the order you will drive it, with the distance to each stop. Tap a job for directions. Prove the work was done. Photographs before and after, the questions your employer asks on that kind of job, and a signature when one is needed. It all goes back to the office as you go. Leave notes from the field. Found something that was not in the job? Write it down, add as many photographs as you need, and the office sees it beside the work order. Say how it went. When a job is more than it looked, close it out honestly: done, or could not finish — and whether it needs a quote or another visit. Check your hours. Day, week and month views of your own timesheet, with the punches behind every total. Something wrong? Ask for a correction without ringing anyone. ABOUT YOUR LOCATION The app shares your location while you are clocked in and driving between sites, so whoever is dispatching can see who is nearest to the next job. It stops while you are working on a site, stops on a break, and stops the moment you clock out. Only your most recent position is kept — there is no trail of where you have been.
