Welcome to the Sovereign AI revolution. Noren Notes is not another cloud app renting you back your own thoughts. It combines native on-device AI with optional personal Google Cloud (Noren Pro)—without Noren middleman servers holding your notes, and without Noren compute markups on your cloud usage. THE ON-DEVICE ENGINE (FREE FOREVER) Capture thoughts, audio, and ideas offline-capable: • Native Whisper Dictation: On-device voice transcription via optimized native code. • Dynamic Silicon Routing: On-device models where available (Gemini Nano via AICore on supported Tensor devices, or Gemma on capable hardware). • Web Clipper (optional): Manually capture a visible page URL or on-screen text into a private vault note. URLs may use on-device article extraction (same path as Share → Noren Notes). • Checklists & Boards: Tasks, calendar events, and visual boards. • Privacy by design: Noren Systems does not operate centralized note databases. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE Noren Notes optionally uses Android’s AccessibilityService API for Web Clipper / Content Capture. While enabled, Noren may read visible on-screen text and page URLs from the active window (password fields skipped). Import into a note happens only when you tap the system Accessibility button or choose Capture now in Settings. Accessibility is used only to obtain that URL or on-screen text for manual capture. When a URL is available, optional on-device article extraction may run. If you signed in and enabled private cloud / online features, Noren may show an AI summary via your Google Cloud path that you can save to a vault note. Optional. Refuse the in-app disclosure and keep using Noren Notes without Web Clipper. Disable anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility.
