These cues reflect the movement of the vehicle and may help make screen use more comfortable while traveling. ■ How Vehicle Motion Cues Work Motion sickness, also known as kinetosis, can occur when there is a mismatch between what your eyes see and what your inner ear senses. When you look at a stationary screen inside a moving car, bus, train, or other vehicle, your eyes may perceive little movement while your inner ear detects acceleration, braking, vibration, and turns. This sensory mismatch may contribute to symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, cold sweats, and headaches. Kineto uses your device’s motion sensors to display synchronized visual cues that respond to changes in vehicle movement.
