Shape Calc

📐 Shape Calc - type the lengths, get every measurement at once You do not need to remember the formulas. Pick a shape, enter the lengths, and the area, volume, surface area, perimeter, diagonal and slant height all appear together. 【10 plane shapes】 Square / Rectangle / Triangle (base and height) / Triangle (three sides, Heron's formula) / Parallelogram / Trapezoid / Rhombus / Circle / Circular sector / Regular polygon 【7 solids】 Cube / Rectangular box / Cylinder / Cone / Sphere / Rectangular pyramid / Triangular prism 【The input fields follow the shape】 A square asks for one side. A trapezoid asks for the two parallel sides and the height. Every field is labeled, so you always know which number goes where. 【Volumes are also shown in liters】 A 90 × 45 × 45 cm tank comes to 182,250 cm³, or 182.25 L. Handy for aquariums, containers and storage. 【Choose mm, cm or m】 Pick the unit for the lengths and the rest follows: areas come out squared (cm²) and volumes cubed (cm³). Nothing to convert by hand. 【Work backwards】 Get the side from an area, the radius from an area, the edge from a volume, or the radius from a volume. "A 20 m² square room is how many meters across?" is one tap away. 【Quick chart】 For the square, circle, cube and sphere, see the area, volume and perimeter for sides and radii of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 laid out side by side. 【Presets for common values】 A4 paper, B5 paper, a tatami mat, one tsubo, a 90 cm fish tank, a baseball. One tap fills in the values. 【History of the last 5 calculations】 Tap any entry to bring it back. History is stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time. 【Input checks】 Enter three sides that cannot form a triangle and the app says so right away, instead of quietly showing a meaningless number. 【Notes included】 Short explanations behind the numbers: how Heron's formula let surveyors skip measuring the height, why Archimedes is said to have asked for a sphere and a cylinder on his tomb, and how a regular polygon approaches a circle as you add sides. 【Good for】 • Finding the area of a room, a plot of land or a sheet of material • Working out the capacity of a tank in liters • Getting the surface area of a cylinder or a cone • Checking a formula for homework • Going the other way, from an area back to a length 【Japanese and English】 The app follows your device language. Nothing to configure. 【No account needed】 The calculation runs on your device, and the lengths you type are never sent anywhere. 【Privacy Policy】 https://cof745.github.io/zukei-privacy/ 【Contact】 [email protected]
