Nimbit

Nimbit BACnet is the BACnet/IP diagnostic tool for the technician standing at the panel, not at the SCADA workstation. Connect your phone to the building network and within seconds you know which controllers are there, what points they have, which ones are in fault and what has changed since your last visit. SCAN THE NETWORK • BACnet/IP discovery via Who-Is / I-Am on the network interface you choose. • Broadcast address calculated from the real IP and prefix length: /24 is never assumed. • Configurable port (UDP 47808 by default). • Device list with instance number, address, vendor and model. • Full object tree per device: analog, binary and multi-state. • Present_Value read on request, together with the properties you need to interpret it (units, named states, reliability). WI-FI AND RJ45 CABLE CONNECTION • Works both over Wi-Fi and over Ethernet using a USB-C to RJ45 adapter, so you can plug straight into the bus when there is no wireless coverage. • You can have Wi-Fi, mobile data and Ethernet up at the same time: you pick the working interface by hand and BACnet traffic is bound to that network, not to the default route. • If only one usable network is present it is selected for you; when there are several, the wired one wins. FIND FAULTS WITHOUT OPENING POINTS ONE BY ONE • Bulk Reliability check across whatever you have filtered on screen: open sensors, shorted loops, no communication or out-of-range readings show up flagged in the list itself. • It runs only when you ask for it and can be stopped while keeping what was already read: the customer's network is never flooded. • Filters by object type, by tag, by writable points and by points in fault. • Automatic tagging by equipment, family, floor and magnitude, using the same criteria as the supervision platform, and correctable by hand. WHAT CHANGED SINCE THE LAST VISIT • Every scan is stored on the phone and compared against the previous one. • At network level: devices that NO LONGER RESPOND, that CHANGED IP or that are NEW ON THE NETWORK, with disappearances listed first. • At device level: new points, points that no longer appear and renamed points, with their own counter. • Everything hangs off the site, not off the subnet: two customers both using 192.168.1.0/24 never mix their history. • Honest rules: identity is tracked by type and instance, an incomplete or cancelled scan is not compared, and on a first visit the app says there is nothing to compare against instead of inventing a result. CONTROLLED WRITES, NEVER AUTOMATIC Nimbit discovers and reads without writing anything. The only write is Present_Value and you always trigger it yourself, point by point: • Commandable objects only, with the Priority_Array shown before you touch it. • Priority chosen by hand, with a warning if your write would be masked or if you are dropping into critical levels. • Two-tap confirmation, and releasing a priority is a first-class action. • A timeout is reported as "unknown whether the write went through", never as success. NO ACCOUNTS, NO CLOUD, NO SURPRISES There is no sign-up, no server and no telemetry. Everything the app reads and stores stays on the phone. Available in English, Spanish, French and Catalan, switchable on the fly. This release works with BACnet/IP over IPv4 within the same subnet.
