Birana is an offline, on-device AI study tutor built for students sitting Ethiopia's ESSLCE exam. A compact language model runs directly on your phone. After you download it once, Birana works with no internet connection, no account, and no chat data ever leaving your device. Downloads pause and resume automatically if your connection drops. PRIVACY FIRST There is no account to create. Your name, chats, notes, and quiz history are stored only on your device. The only network calls Birana makes are to download a model or, optionally, to sync a textbook from the library catalog — never to send your conversations anywhere.
