Shram Shree

Shram Shree is a unified mobile app by Madhya Pradesh's Department of Labour and NIC, bringing worker welfare, health, mobility, and legal entitlements onto one platform. The name means "worker's companion" — it's designed to walk alongside registered workers statewide (construction, factories, farms, informal markets), replacing long office queues and paperwork with a simple, vernacular, mobile-first experience. App featured Health Screening, Yatra (Travel DBT), and Labour Services, with new modules added periodically. With a vision of no workers should lose a day's wages navigating government processes. The app shifts from reactive relief to preventive welfare — proactively pushing health camps, entitlement reminders, and eligibility checks to workers' phones. Health Screening module features Digital Health Camps for general wellness, NCD (hypertension, diabetes), and occupational hazard screening, Risk assessment tools recording vitals, behavioral risk factors, and generating automated risk scores/referrals, Organ-specific screening (renal, hepatic, respiratory/TB, vision, anemia), Occupational disease screening (dust/chemical exposure, strain injuries, hearing loss), Digital health records that travel with migrating workers and automated referral management to appropriate facilities Labour Services module includes worker registration with Samagra ID integration, welfare scheme enrolment, wage/minimum wage information, grievance redressal with status tracking, LIN and compliance support for establishments, scheme notifications, document locker and multilingual voice-assisted interface for varying literacy levels.
