NEXT is an employee engagement and corporate wellness app for participating employees. Stay connected with company updates and events, track NEXT Points, redeem rewards, and join the optional NEXT Step Challenge to build a daily walking habit. An authorized employee account is required. EMPLOYEE WELLNESS AND STEP CHALLENGE Monitor your daily steps, track progress toward a 10,000-step daily walking goal, build walking streaks, and view weekly and monthly step totals. Join a voluntary employee walking challenge and see your progress in the signed-in NEXT community leaderboard. HEALTH CONNECT ON ANDROID If you choose to join, NEXT asks for permission to read steps from Health Connect. This step data powers automatic daily step tracking, walking-goal progress, streaks and challenge rankings. NEXT requests read-only step access; it does not write health data or request other Health Connect data types. A compatible Android device with Health Connect and a connected app or device that records steps is required to sync step totals. Sync runs while you use the Wellness feature. YOUR CHOICE AND YOUR DATA Before requesting Health Connect permission, NEXT explains the data use and asks for your consent. Your daily step totals, dates, fitness provider and time zone are uploaded to and stored on NEXT servers for the challenge. Your name, photo, department, rank and weekly or monthly step totals are visible to signed-in NEXT users. The leaderboard is not available to the general public. Participation is optional. You can use company updates, events, points and rewards without connecting Health Connect. Use Disconnect in Wellness to stop syncing and delete your synced step totals and challenge connection from NEXT. You can also revoke step access in Health Connect settings.
