Karmlekha AI Sikh Journal

ਕਰਮਲੇਖਾ — The record of your deeds. Every day you act. Every day you speak. Every day something is done — or left undone. Karmlekha AI Sikh Journal is the private space where you account for it honestly, guided by the wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This is not a mood tracker. Not a habit app. Not a wellness tool with Punjabi fonts slapped on it. Karmlekha is a Sikh spiritual journal — built for people who want to live their faith, not just believe it. RECORD YOUR DEEDS EACH DAY Choose from 13 thoughtfully written positive deed tiles and 13 negative deed tiles — specific, honest, the kind that make you quietly nod in recognition. Listened without interrupting. Lost my temper. Helped without being asked. Judged someone inwardly. Or write your own in your own words. Add a remark for context. The entire entry takes under a minute. Both good deeds and weaknesses are recorded with equal honour. A person who records their failures is braver than one who records nothing. THE GURU RESPONDS TO YOUR DAY At the end of each day, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji responds. Karmlekha is powered by a complete semantic index of all 60,555 verses of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Your day's entries are summarised and matched — by meaning, not by keyword — to the Shabad most relevant to what you actually lived through that day. Not a random rotation. Not a generic quote. The Guru's own words, responding to your own words. The Gurmukhi verse, its English translation, the Ang reference, the Raag, and a brief reflection are shown together on your daily summary screen — the closest thing to a private conversation with the Guru that a digital space can offer. COMPLETE PRIVACY — ENCRYPTED BY DESIGN Your journal entries are encrypted on your device before they are saved. Not even the people who built this app can read what you write. The SGGS verse retrieval receives only an anonymous summary of your day — never your actual words, never your identity. Your passphrase is known only to you. If lost, it cannot be recovered by anyone. This is by design. Your Karmlekha is between you and Waheguru — no one else. BUILT FOR THE SIKH DIASPORA — AND FOR EVERY SIKH Whether you live in Punjab or Brampton, Birmingham or Melbourne, Sydney or Singapore — Karmlekha holds the same space for you. The Gurmukhi script, the Nanakshahi calendar, the Gurbani at the centre of every day — this app was built by a Sikh, for Sikhs, with the faith that the community deserves a digital space that reflects their values. No advertisements. No tracking. No sharing of your data with anyone.
