Audiobook files themselves are not included in the backup and remain in the folders you selected. LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN No Ember account is required. Your library, progress, bookmarks, notes, tags, and listening history are stored on your device. Core playback and library features work without an internet connection. Google Play is used when purchasing or restoring Premium. Free Ember may show restrained banner advertising after applicable consent choices. SUPPORTED CONTENT Ember is intended for DRM-free audiobook files you already own. Verified formats are MP3, M4A, and M4B. Audible DRM formats such as AAX and AA are not supported.
