What you can do with Vivery: - Find nearby food resources – Use our interactive Find Food map to locate local food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, and community meal programs. - Learn about SNAP and WIC – Read general information about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). - Illinois SNAP and WIC screener – Illinois residents can answer a few questions to estimate potential eligibility for SNAP and WIC in Illinois. This screener provides an estimate only and is based on criteria from the Illinois Department of Human Services. It is NOT an official eligibility determination or an application. Formal eligibility decisions and official applications are handled exclusively by the Illinois Department of Human Services. - Learn about Medicaid – Read general information about Medicaid and Illinois Medicaid, including the All Kids and Moms & Babies programs and how to apply for and renew coverage. Who can use this app? Anyone can use Vivery to find nearby food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, and hot meal programs. The SNAP and WIC screener and the Illinois Medicaid information are currently for Illinois residents only. Data Privacy & Security We may share personal information with the vendors and agencies that support the programs you have decided to use in our app. For example, appropriate personal information, such as your name and physical address, would be shared with a food provider and a delivery company to support your food order. None of our vendors or agencies will ever use that information to attempt to market anything to you. We may collect non-personal information via a variety of means, including surveys, satisfaction questionnaires, etc. We also use automated means to collect various types of non-personal information (data in a form that does not support direct association with any specific person or individual). When gathered, this data, if used, is used in the aggregate, and not in a manner that is intended to identify you personally. This type of aggregate information may be shared with third parties at any time.
