Full description
Six years ago the sky went white for one silent second. When the dark came back, every compass in three countries pointed wrong — and the poisoned circle around a dead reactor became something the perimeter states could only wall off and name. The Dead Zone. The people who cross the wire anyway just call it the Zone. You are a Drifter. There is no chosen one here. No destiny, no waypoint telling you that you matter — just boots, a rifle you cannot afford to lose, and a PDA full of other people's plans. Three open grounds to walk: the drowned Mudflats, the contested Slagworks, and the Ashen City, where the counter never goes quiet. THE SURGE Roughly once an hour the Zone takes a breath. The sky turns the colour of an old burn scar, the mutants break off mid-hunt and run for their dens, and for ninety seconds the open sky is lethal. Any roof stops it — a bunker, a barge hull, a rotten plank shed you share with the stranger who was shooting at you a minute ago. Then the anomalies come back armed. ANOMALIES AND ARTIFACTS Six families of anomaly knot the ground: arc nests, scorchers, slam wells, acid blooms, choke mists, flux snares. A pocketful of bolts thrown ahead of your feet will save your life more often than your detector will. Artifacts are not lying in the grass — you draw them out of a live anomaly with a Field Extractor and hold still while it burns you, and drawing during a Surge pays best of all. EVERY WAY OF PLAYING IS REAL Explorer, trader, medic, warlord. Run cargo between fixers and never fire a shot, or hold the haul road with a crew. Choose an origin at character creation — Scavenger, Field Medic, Ex-Warden, Wire Runner, Prospector, Pact Hand — and live with what it costs you. Bribe, haggle or lean on people in dialogue, but only when you can actually back the line. THE WIRE An asynchronous market that spans every map and every timezone. List a rifle in a flooded barge and it sells three maps away while you are offline. Post what you want and hold the credits until someone fills it. Prices move where you trade: buy cheap, haul it somewhere dear, and survive the road in between. CREWS, SQUADS, BANNERS Raise a crew with a name, a tag, a colour and a banner that claims ground. Declare war unilaterally; alliances take both leaderships. Or just press one key to squad up with whoever is walking your road today — teal on the map, voice in your ear, gone by morning. THE ZONE HITS BACK Bleeding won't stop on its own, and it makes you loud enough for things to find you. Fractures take your sprint or your aim. A blast leaves you concussed with a map full of static. Each Surge cycle crowns one alpha mutant somewhere in the zone, and the dens only refill when the Zone says so. WHAT YOU LEARN, YOU KEEP Dying costs your gear, never your training. Sprinting trains your legs, reloads train your hands, and every species you kill fills its page in your bestiary. Walk a place often enough and your map starts marking its anomalies — and you feel that ground's Surge coming before the alarm does. BUILD AND HOLD Raise walls, doors and stashes that persist in the world, and defend them, because everything you build can be shot down. PVP IS NEVER SWITCHED OFF There is no safe-mode toggle in this game. The peaceful path is played through the world — fixer posts are neutral ground, Warden guns enforce it, Surge truces are absolute, and killing someone lets them put credits on your head. Free to play. No pay-to-win, ever: nothing sold will ever add combat or economy power. English · Русский · Українська Online connection required. Real-time text and voice chat with other players is not moderated in advance.
