Saper is the field-operations app for the NAVA sap-extraction platform. It gives tappers, helpers and technicians a single tool to run their daily route — recording taps, pairing collection hardware, raising tickets and closing out tasks — and it keeps working when the network doesn't. BUILT FOR THE FIELD, NOT THE OFFICE Plantations rarely have reliable signal. Saper is offline-first by design: every action you take is saved on the device immediately and synced automatically the moment connectivity returns. You never lose a reading because a tower was out of range, and you never have to remember what to re-enter later. THREE ROLES, ONE APP • Tapper — work through your assigned trees and flowers, record taps, scan jars and devices, and log collection data. • Helper — a focused, restricted view for assisting staff, with only the actions relevant to the task at hand. • Technician — install, pair, diagnose and dismantle collection devices, and resolve hardware tickets. Your role is set by your organization and determines what you see. There is nothing to configure. SECURE BY DEFAULT Credentials are stored in the device's hardware-backed secure storage, never in plain text. All communication with NAVA servers is encrypted in transit. Sessions refresh automatically, so you stay signed in through a full shift without re-entering anything. ACCESS Saper requires a NAVA account issued by your employer. It is not a general-purpose app and cannot be used without organizational credentials. Contact your supervisor or plantation administrator to get set up.
