Secure Recorder brings recording, organisation, editing and cloud backup together in one easy-to-use audio toolkit. A clear interface helps you capture everyday ideas, conversations and longer sessions on phones and tablets. Free to use, supported by a small advertising banner. RECORDING THAT ADAPTS TO YOU Use multiple audio sources and combine tracks, including compatible external USB microphones. Availability and simultaneous input support depend on your device, connected equipment and Android restrictions. Quickly group, tag, find and share recordings. AUTO MODE: KEEP THE MOMENT Monitor audio and save the recent audio held in the rolling buffer when you need it, including longer periods within the configured buffer limit. Listen with audio monitoring where supported. Control recording with gestures and configurable triggers such as voice commands, sound level, NFC or repeated power-button presses. Background recording displays an ongoing notification and depends on device restrictions. Notebook mode keeps voice notes together. Select a note, choose a point on the waveform and add a recording at the end or at that point without overwriting what follows. Joining without re-encoding requires the same format (WAV, AAC/M4A or Opus/OGG); a mismatch creates a new note. Zoom the waveform, jump between sections and rename notes. Only the last addition can be undone, and only until the app closes. YOUR CLOUD, YOUR COPIES Connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or WebDAV. Upload finished recordings or enable periodic live/AUTO copies. Successfully uploaded copies can remain available if your device is lost. This is not a guarantee against data loss: uploads require connectivity and a working destination; unsent audio can be lost. Live backup is off by default; cellular uploads can be disabled. Upload completion after the app process closes is not guaranteed. EDIT AND TRANSCRIBE Trim recordings, improve audio and reduce noise. Transcribe supported languages locally with Whisper or Vosk. Download or import the required models first; downloads need internet access. Language support, speed and accuracy depend on the model, device and audio quality. Transcription converts speech to text. PIN AND ENCRYPTED CLOUD COPIES A PIN protects access to the app interface. Optional AES-256-GCM encryption protects final uploads and live/AUTO cloud copies when enabled. It is off by default and does not encrypt local originals, temporary files, transcripts or exports. Keep your encryption key to recover encrypted copies. The local emergency copy is on by default and can save unencrypted audio in the public Recordings/SecureRecorder folder, including AUTO mode. Remaining copies or exports may need manual deletion. Deleting a recording attempts to remove known cloud copies; disconnecting an account does not delete its cloud files. For ages 16 and over.
