My Type is a dating, networking and business-connection app for adults in Kenya, built on a simple idea: get to know someone before you see them. There are no profile photos. Every member has a profile made of honest answers, so you connect on what matters first — where someone lives, what they do, what they're looking for and how they describe themselves in one line. HOW IT WORKS Sign up anonymously with an alias. Your email is never shown to other members. Answer a short questionnaire: gender, what you're looking for, field of work, location, religion, income status, height, age, kids, marital status, education and a one-line description of yourself. Swipe through profiles, one card at a time. Each card shows the key points — tap it to see everything. Swipe right to connect or left to skip. The other person sees your profile and chooses to accept or decline. Once they accept, you can text, make voice and video calls, and share images and videos. WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FOR Choose one or more goals on your profile: Dating, Networking, Business Partner, or simply Explore the App. Filter the deck by location, field of occupation, religion, income status, marital status, education, kids, age and height to find your type. MADE FOR KENYA Pick your city from Kenyan towns, and find people in your field — from agriculture, healthcare and education to IT, finance, construction, hospitality and more. SIMPLE, FAIR PRICING Sending connection requests uses a weekly subscription of KES 300, paid with M-Pesa. Browsing profiles and replying to requests you receive doesn't need one. It doesn't renew by itself — you choose when to pay for another week. If someone declines, keep swiping: your subscription covers any number of requests while it's active.
