Mythwild

Mythwild is a 3D open world you explore with other people in real time, from your phone. Up to 24 players share each world. Walk, drive, fly, fight and hunt for treasure across one seamless map, with your progress saved to your account. ONE WORLD, MANY PLACES A city, a forest, a big lake, a savanna, a mountain ring, a race circuit, a drag strip, a cave, a road tunnel and a 312 m suspension bridge, all on one map. Beyond it lie separate zones: Bruce's estate, where a family lives on a daily cycle and will show you out after dark; Kaléa's bike park; the climbable Alps and the Summit, gated behind the Wanderer's riddles; the hostile Hollow with two bosses of its own; the two Mythic Rift zones, the Sky-Realm and the Underworld, where there is no flight, no healing, and falling kills; and the Arena, a combat world through a timed portal with four classes, its own shop and seven badges. 29 WAYS TO GET AROUND From an F1 car and a dragster to a monster truck, a hovertank, a jetski, a bicycle, skates and a hoverboard. Every vehicle has its own body, its own handling and its own engine voice, synthesised live with real firing orders, a gearbox and a turbo where fitted. Or ride: horses, a unicorn, and a dragon. PEOPLE TO MEET Bruce runs the mod shop. Reneé sets five equestrian challenges. Kaléa rides her park better than you and has two acts of challenges to prove it. Wick the Bootwright sells the foot-race shoes. Tao-Shan runs the off-road rig yard. The Wanderer asks four riddles and holds the climbing gear that opens the Summit. POWERS AND FORMS Super speed, the Rootcaller, a chargeable power blast, flight, gliding, a parachute, alien warp and the Bifröst. Shape-shift into 12 forms, from a rabbit to a bear, a dragon, a ghost and a slime. FIGHT 15 weapons, each with a signature move, including Mjölnir, the Astral Bow, the Leviathan Axe and Dawnbringer. Bosses include the Hollow's Warden and King, the lion, and Níðhöggr, a world-event dragon with an armour ladder and a shared hoard. A LIVING WORLD 27 species with their own behaviour, from foxes, marmots and ibex to elephants, crocodiles and snow leopards, and a bestiary that fills in as you meet them. THINGS TO DO Circuit racing over 17 checkpoints, drag racing, a foot race against cars, equestrian challenges, the bike park's two acts, 31 treasures to find, boss fights, and three shops to spend your credits in. Ten completion tracks, from treasures and landmarks to trophies and legendaries, all feed the Golden Door. BUILT FOR A THUMB A floating stick, a button cluster that turns into pedals in a car, a context button that says what it will do, a quick button you can pin any action to, and a one-tap swap for left-handed play. EVERY SOUND IS MADE ON THE FLY There are no audio files. Engines, weather, region ambience and the summit's breath are all synthesised as you play. Mythwild is free to play.
