Pyxie

Set everyone up for success from day one. Whether you're preparing for a nanny's first day, welcoming an au pair, or beginning a trial, Pyxie helps you hand over everything they need to know before they walk through the door. Children thrive when the adults around them work together as a team. Predictable routines help young children feel safe, regulate emotions, and know what to expect (CDC). As your child grows and routines (or caregivers) change, Pyxie helps you stay connected through simple weekly check-ins and an always up-to-date Care Manual. Nanny onboarding made simple The Care Manual is a shared guide that helps your nanny understand not just what to do, but how your family does things. Designed with hundreds of parents and professional nannies, it captures routines, emergency protocols, parenting approaches, household rules, and more in one place. No more scattered google docs, sticky notes, or lost text threads. Invite your Nanny Share your Care Manual with your nanny, au pair, sitter, or another trusted adult caring for your child in your home, so they feel prepared before day one and supported every day after. Ask Pyxie Your nanny can instantly find answers based on your family's Care Manual, giving them the confidence to make everyday decisions that stay consistent with how you parent. Weekly Check-ins One week after your nanny starts, Pyxie prompts both of you to complete a short weekly check-in. Regular communication helps reinforce what's working, catch small concerns early, and keep your Care Manual up to date as your child grows and routines naturally change. We're building a future where every adult has what they need to help children thrive. The first five years of life are full of change. New milestones, changing routines, growing independence, new foods, new schedules. During these early years, children's brains are developing at an extraordinary pace, and consistent, responsive care helps build the foundation for future learning, behavior, and well-being. That's why we built Pyxie. We believe better tools for adults lead to better outcomes for children. Drawing from the proven systems of expert nannies, Pyxie makes it easy to share knowledge, communicate regularly, and adapt as children grow during the years that matter the most. We're building Pyxie alongside the families and caregivers who use it. If you have feedback, questions, or ideas, we'd love to hear from you at [email protected].
