DigitalShul Zmanim gives you the zmanim for exactly where you are, calculated for your own location and your community's tradition — and everything around them that a day, a week and a year bring. WHAT IT DOES • Zmanim for your position, by tradition: Chabad, GRA, Magen Avraham and more. Each zman explained in plain words. • The day as a clock: where you are in the halachic day, and where opinions differ, the stricter and the more lenient time side by side. • Shabbat and Yom Tov: candle lighting and havdalah, the parsha and special Shabbatot. • The month: Rosh Chodesh, the molad, Shabbat Mevarchim and the window for Kiddush Levana, with today marked. • For the gabbai: the week's prayer changes at a glance — Hallel, Musaf, Yaaleh VeYavo, Tachanun — and the Torah readings with their aliyot. • Chitas and the day's Tehillim and Tanya; Chabad customs and days of the Chabad calendar. • Your shul: choose it from a directory of almost 2,000 shuls around the world, or suggest yours. When your gabbai publishes the minyanim, pick yours and the reminders follow it. • Reminders for candle lighting, Shema, Mincha, Maariv, the Omer and Kiddush Levana. Never on Shabbat or Yom Tov. • Quiet during prayers: the phone can switch to vibrate or silent for your minyan. • Closed on Shabbat and Yom Tov: from candle lighting until it is over, the app rests too, and opens again by itself. • English, Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew (right to left). Times follow the opinions of each tradition. When in doubt, ask your Rav. Corrections and suggestions are welcome on WhatsApp, from the About screen. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no tracking. The zmanim need no account: what you enter stays on your phone, and the app sends only coordinates and a date to calculate times, and a crash report if something fails. A free account is needed only to join your shul; your shul's gabbaim then see your name and contact details. DigitalShul also makes the zmanim display boards used in synagogues: digitalshul.com.
