Mycology Guide and Tracker

Mycology Guide — Grow Gourmet Mushrooms Growing mushrooms at home is not as complicated as the forums make it look, but finding accurate, consistent guidance in one place has always been the hard part. Mycology Guide fixes that. It is a complete cultivation assistant that walks you through every stage of a grow, from preparing grain spawn to harvesting and running subsequent flushes, with species-specific instructions, environmental targets, and a built-in troubleshooter when things go sideways. No account needed. No internet required. Everything runs locally on your device. Step-by-step grow workflows Start a new grow, pick your species and setup, and the app guides you through each stage in order. Every task has timing, environmental targets, and failure signals so you know what you are looking for and what to do if you do not see it. When you finish a harvest the app asks if you want to run another flush, walks you through recovery, and picks back up at fruiting rather than sending you back to the beginning. 11 gourmet species Blue Oyster, Pink Oyster, Golden Oyster, King Oyster, Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Maitake, Enoki, Chestnut, Pioppino, and Nameko. Each one has a full grow profile with colonization and fruiting temperatures, humidity and CO2 targets, substrate recommendations, expected timelines, and typical flush counts. Troubleshooting that actually helps When something goes wrong the symptom checker walks you through a decision tree to find the specific problem and gives you a fix, the likely cause, and how to prevent it next time. Contamination, stalled colonization, no pins, aborting pins, deformed fruits, substrate problems. It covers the situations growers actually run into. Environment monitoring Log your temperature, humidity, and CO2 readings against the targets for your current species and stage. The app tells you when you are out of range and what to adjust. Indoor and outdoor grows Full indoor support for Martha tents, monotubs, shotgun fruiting chambers, grow rooms, and hybrid setups. Outdoor workflows for log inoculation and bag cultivation with guidance adapted to your climate. Sterilization and pasteurization reference Exact instructions for grain spawn sterilization in an Instant Pot or pressure cooker, hot water pasteurization for straw and bulk substrates, and cold lime soak pasteurization. Timing, temperatures, and contamination risk guidance included. Grow tracking Photo logging at each stage, yield tracking with lifetime totals, personal records by species, and a full stage history for every grow you run. Free to start, one-time Pro unlock The complete grow workflow is free with no restrictions. Pro unlocks the symptom checker, advanced diagnostics, achievements, and yield analytics for a single one-time payment. No subscription, no account, no ongoing cost. Achievements and progression Earn badges as you hit milestones and build XP across seven grower levels from Apprentice all the way to God-Like Mycologist, which requires earning every badge in the app. If you have been growing from memory, forum posts, and YouTube videos and want something that keeps it all organized and guides you through the parts you are still guessing at, this is built for that. v25.5 — Data & Stability Update This update fixes a critical issue where saved grows, photos, and environment logs could disappear after extended use, making the app appear to reset to a new install. If you experienced data loss, we are sorry, this is now resolved.
