MyBoatMate: Boat Logbook

MyBoatMate is your boat's logbook, planner and checklists in one place. It keeps track of maintenance, journeys and engine hours, checklists and documents, whether you have a narrowboat, a motor cruiser, a sailing boat or a RIB. Open the app and Home shows all your boats, what needs doing on each, and the next jobs coming due. MAINTENANCE THAT KNOWS WHEN IT'S DUE • Set tasks by time, by engine hours, or both, whichever comes first • A clear status for every job: overdue, due soon or up to date • Hours-based jobs show a forecast date from how much you actually cruise • Ready-made tasks matched to your boat's type, engines and hull, all yours to edit • A service log with the date, engine hours, cost, parts and notes JOURNEY LOG WITH ENGINE TIMERS • Start a journey in two taps and each engine's timer runs on its own • Hours add up even if your phone locks or the app closes • Record where from and to, crew, locks, distance, fuel, water and the weather • Add photos, or log a past journey by hand CHECKLISTS YOU MAKE YOUR OWN • Every boat starts with a short "Before setting off" list • Build your own lists from suggestions matched to your boat • Swipe an item away if it doesn't apply today • Number items record crew, locks, fuel and meter readings straight into your journey DOCUMENTS WITH EXPIRY REMINDERS • Safety certificate, licence or registration, insurance, mooring contract and more • Numbers, expiry dates and a photo or PDF of each • A reminder before anything runs out ALSO • A "Don't forget" list for things to bring or do next time • Works offline on the water: everything is saved on your phone and syncs when you're back in range • Backed up to your account, so a new phone or a second phone has everything • Up to 5 boats per account • Export your data whenever you like • No adverts and no tracking PRICE MyBoatMate is free to download and comes with a 30 day free trial, no card needed. After that it's £9.99 a year, bought in the app through Google Play. One subscription covers every boat on your account, up to 5. The subscription renews every year until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in your Google Play settings. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only: your records are kept safe, you can still see and export everything, and your data is kept for 12 months in case you come back. MyBoatMate helps you keep records. It doesn't replace proper inspections, safety examinations or your engine maker's service schedule.
