The tales of Sindbad the Sailor are one of the most famous tales of the Thousand and One Nights tales. The sailor Sindbad is a fictional character who lived in the Abbasid period. He is a sailor from Baghdad. It is said that the real Sindbad is a Baghdadi merchant residing in Amman. Seven Nights of "One Thousand and One Nights" dealt with seven tales of the sailor Sindbad, and according to it, "Sindbad" is the name of a famous Arabian sailor and adventurer.
