ArpSynth: Arpeggiator Synth

Hold a chord and ArpSynth plays it back as a pattern, in time, rising and falling across up to four octaves. Turn the knobs and the sound changes as it plays. There's no setup: press a key and it's already playing. Everything sits on one screen: two oscillators, ring modulation, FM, overdrive, fuzz, reverb and a full arpeggiator. No menus to dig through, no account to create. THE ARPEGGIATOR • Hold one key or a whole chord and it plays in time • Six patterns spanning one to four octaves • Tempo from 40 to 200 BPM, plus a Divisor knob for faster or slower steps • Turn Octaves to zero to switch the arpeggiator off and play the synth directly, up to four notes at once THE SOUND • Oscillator 1: sine, saw, square or noise, with octave and level • Oscillator 2: sine, saw or square, with octave and detune for thick, beating tones • Ring modulation and FM for metallic, bell-like and aggressive sounds • Decay, from short plucks to longer notes • Overdrive and fuzz for grit, reverb for space THE KEYBOARD • Sized for your screen: ArpSynth picks how many keys fit comfortably, from 13 to 37 • Show more or fewer keys with + and -, and move between octaves with < and > • Multitouch, with octave numbers on every C • Your touch shapes the tone: play toward the top of a key for a brighter note • Slide your fingers along the keys to change notes without lifting • Plays in portrait or landscape PRESETS • Save any sound under a name and bring it back with one tap • ArpSynth remembers where you left off, so your last sound is waiting when you return UNDER THE HOOD • Every note is synthesized live by ArpSynth's own sound engine: no samples, no loops • 48 kHz, 32-bit floating-point stereo output • No ads, no account and no internet permission.
