Hourly Time

Hear the time on the hour and choose optional public holiday reminders. Completely free, with no ads, in-app purchases or account requirement. Choose a time zone, 12/24-hour format and quiet hours. Preview the date and time or stop speech. Uses system media volume and supports headphones and screen readers. Holiday reminders are off by default. Choose a country or region to view and preview the nearest holiday. Include its information in enabled hourly announcements 0–365 days ahead, with 7 days as the default. There is no separate holiday alarm. If no real holiday is available, only the manual preview uses a clearly labelled New Year's Day example. Optional internet access downloads current-year and next-year data over HTTPS from Nager.Holidays (nagerholidays.com). Valid cached data is reused to avoid repeated downloads. The provider can see your connection IP. Time announcements and cached holidays work offline; an installed offline TTS voice is required. Holiday names are in English and completeness varies by region. Mainland China data does not include the full holiday-break and make-up workday schedule. New holiday and setup screens are in English and Simplified Chinese, with English fallback for other languages. Automatic announcements require system exact-alarm access. Reopen the app after force stopping it to restore scheduling. Developer: MRongM. Support: [email protected].
