The Ultimate Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Calculator Created by a dietitian, this app was built for the real-world workflow of estimating nutrition needs and managing EN and PN calculations without digging through spreadsheets or bouncing between tools. Think of it as your clunky Excel nutrition worksheet as an app: faster to use, cleaner to look at, and much easier to take with you. Quickly calculate estimated needs using Mifflin-St Jeor, Penn State, Modified Penn State, and kcal/kg ranges for actual body weight and ideal body weight. The calculator also displays BMI, IBW, %IBW, % weight change, and includes a metric-to-imperial converter. Simply enter weight, height, age, and, when needed, ventilator L/min and temperature for Penn State equations. The enteral calculator can be customized for any formula or modular. Enter patient weight, formula kcal/mL, protein per liter, and percent water to calculate continuous or bolus feeds, flushes, and modulars. Results include total kcal, kcal/kg, protein, g/kg, water volume, and mL/kg. A second enteral tab lets you build and edit your own formulary and compare formulas side by side based on calories instead of volume. The parenteral calculator saves time by helping you calculate and adjust PN solutions quickly. Enter patient weight, dextrose, amino acids, lipids, total volume, and additives to view total kcal, kcal/kg, amino acids/kg, GIR, solution percentage for stability, kcal distribution, total mEq potassium and sodium, normal saline equivalent, minimum required volume, and osmolarity for PPN.
