Full description
Phosphor Archive is a retro-inspired space shooter about infiltrating a mysterious planetary system and recovering the data hidden inside it. Navigate through dangerous space, destroy asteroids, breach planetary shields, extract memory fragments, hack satellite hubs, and uncover the signal buried at the heart of the system. Alien formations and automated defenses protect the archive and they will do everything they can to stop you. A retro space shooter with a unique visual style Inspired by classic arcade and space games, Phosphor Archive combines fast, skill-based shooting with inertial movement, planetary gravity, and hazardous environments. The game features: - Vector-inspired graphics - CRT phosphor trails, bloom, and glitch effects - Asteroid fields and hostile alien formations - Planetary shields that must be breached - Satellite hubs that can be hacked and re-synchronized - Gravity hazards and a dangerous central star - A story-driven campaign across five sectors - A prototype endless survival mode with roguelite-inspired elements - Multiple languages and accessibility-focused font support Each campaign sector presents a different objective: - Destroy asteroids and collect memory fragments - Hack and re-synchronize a broadcast satellite hub - Breach encrypted planetoid vaults and extract their keys - Survive the star’s escalating gravity purge - Defeat the Sentinel, escape the event horizon, and recover the archive’s final signal The planets, satellites, and alien formations are obstacles between you and the data. Choose your route, control your momentum, avoid the star’s pull, and fight your way through each protected location. Story mode and endless survival The campaign follows a corrupted archive and the signals hidden within it. What begins as a search for lost records leads to a deeper mystery involving a purge routine, a stellar-scale threat, and the Sentinel failsafe guarding the system’s core. When you want to keep playing, enter Endless Mode: an infinite vector stream where you face procedurally generated hazards, enemies, planets, satellites, and survival challenges. It is an evolving prototype that introduces roguelite-inspired runs and progression. If you enjoy retro arcade shooters, space exploration, vector graphics, CRT aesthetics, and challenging score-based action, Phosphor Archive is ready to transmit. Break the shields. Hack the satellites. Take the data. Survive the purge.
