Moodzy: Make Friends Nearby

Want to make friends nearby who are actually free right now? Moodzy shows you people close by who are up for the same thing, so a random free evening turns into a real plan instead of another night of scrolling. Coffee. Gym. A trek. A sunset drive. Pick your mood, see who is around, and go. Moodzy is a location based social app for making friends nearby. It is built for real life plans, not endless chatting, and it is not a dating app. No swiping, no matches, no romance. Just people near you who are free and up for the same thing. HOW MOODZY WORKS 1. Set your mood Pick one of six vibes: Sporty, Party, Food, Creative, Adventurous or Hangout. That is what people see when they find you. 2. See who is nearby Open a live map of people and plans around you right now. Filter by the vibe you are in. 3. Make it real Join someone's plan or start your own, chat in the group, and meet up. Most plans happen within hours, not "someday". WHAT PEOPLE USE MOODZY FOR - Finding a gym partner who actually turns up - A study buddy for exam season - Cafe hopping and trying new places to eat - Weekend treks and day trips to the hills - Sunset drives and long walks - Gaming, music and jam sessions - Meeting neighbours and fellow students in a new city - Just hanging out with zero agenda WHY MOODZY IS DIFFERENT Plans, not profiles. You are not browsing an endless feed of strangers. You are looking at what people are actually doing today. Nearby and right now. Everything is local and time bound. Plans expire, so the map always shows what is genuinely happening. Made for spontaneity. Sudden free evening? Bored on a Sunday? New in town? That is exactly the moment Moodzy is for. Friendship first. Moodzy is for platonic connection. It is not a dating app and never has been. Free. No subscriptions, no in app purchases, no ads. SAFETY AND PRIVACY Your exact location is never shown to anyone. Before your position is shared, our servers shift it by a random offset of roughly 100 to 300 meters, so other people only ever see an approximate area, never your doorstep. Ghost mode lets you browse invisibly whenever you want. You control what your profile shows, and you can block or report anyone in a couple of taps. Every report is reviewed. Moodzy is 18+, and sign in is by phone number, so accounts are tied to a real device rather than a throwaway email. We take this seriously, and we would rather tell you how it works than promise you it is perfect. WHERE MOODZY IS We are starting in Dehradun and Mussoorie, where the app is busiest, and growing city by city. If you are a student, a young professional, or just new to a place and trying to make friends nearby, this is what Moodzy was built for. Set a mood. See who is close. Make a plan.
