Monkey Grip

One monkey, one hand on the vine, and a jungle that never ends. Hold your finger down: the monkey swings up along an arc and climbs the vine, arm bending on the way. Let go and the grip breaks on a tangent — the monkey flies forward, free hand already reaching for the next vine. Release too early and you fall short. Release too late and you sail up past the vine and miss it entirely. One touch is the whole control scheme. Finding the exact moment to lift it is the whole game.
