Fotessa: Passport & Visa Photo

Take your passport, visa or ID photo at home. Fotessa finds your face, measures your head and crops the photo to the size, head height and eye line your document asks for. Fotessa is an independent app: it is not affiliated with any government, passport office or embassy, and it does not issue documents. Every official size in the app comes from the issuing government's own published requirements, and each one links to its source inside the app. SIZED TO THE MILLIMETRE 65 official photo specs for passports, visas and ID cards from 42 countries and the Schengen area - including the US, the UK, Canada, Germany, Japan, India, Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia - plus common sizes such as 2x2 in, 35x45 mm, 3x4 and 4x6 cm. Every official spec names the government page it was read from, one tap away. Visa photos too - for example for Saudi Arabia, India, China and the Schengen area. Official sources, for example: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/photos.html https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports/photo-requirements https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/photos.html https://www.icao.int/publications/doc-series/doc-9303 CHECKED BEFORE YOU PRINT Face, eyes, head position, pose, light and background are checked on the spot. When something is off, Fotessa tells you what to change, so a retake costs seconds instead of a second trip. READY FOR THE COUNTER OR THE FORM Print a 4x6 in (10x15 cm) sheet with several copies and cut marks at any photo kiosk, or print on A4 or Letter at home with a 50 mm bar to check the size. Or save the exact digital file for an online application, such as the DV lottery or an online passport renewal. HONEST BY DESIGN Some documents must be an unedited photo - for example passports from the UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Singapore. For those documents Fotessa never changes the background: stand in front of a plain wall in the colour the document asks for, and if the wall doesn't meet the rule, Fotessa asks for a retake instead of making the photo. Every other document gets the background colour it asks for, already in the free preview. Fotessa never uses a cut-out that isn't clean: if the background can't be replaced cleanly and your wall doesn't meet the rule either, it says so and asks for a retake. Fotessa measures what it can see; the office that issues the document always makes the final decision. YOUR FACE STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Face detection, the background cut-out and every measurement run on the device. No upload, no account. FOTESSA PRO Free for everyone: every document and its rules, the camera or your own photos, the automatic checks, the background and unlimited retakes. The free preview is smaller and carries a watermark. Fotessa Pro unlocks the exact file at full resolution without the watermark, and the print sheets: 10x15 cm for a photo kiosk, A4 or Letter for printing at home. Choose a weekly subscription, which renews until you cancel (cancel any time in your store settings), or a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for good.
