Full description
Miam is an AI calorie counter and food diary: it estimates the calories and macros of a meal from a single photo — 10 free scans to try it. Everything else (food log, barcode, library, history, weight) is free, with no limits. No more endless searches through a food database: snap your plate. Miam figures out what's on it, then asks a quick question or two to settle what a picture can't show — "is that roast chicken?", "any cooking oil?" — before returning a detailed estimate, food by food, with the weight of each component. And you stay in control: every gram is editable, and calories and macros recalculate as you type. 📸 WHAT MIAM DOES • Photo scan — your meal is broken down into its components (meat, starch, vegetable, sauce), each with its own estimated weight. • Targeted questions — Miam asks about what a photo can't reveal, instead of guessing on your behalf. • Fully editable — fix the grams, delete a line, adjust until it matches your plate. • Barcode scanner — for packaged products, values come straight from the open Open Food Facts database. • Text description — no photo on hand? Describe your meal in a sentence. • Manual entry — for when you already know your numbers. 🎯 YOUR FOOD LOG • Personalized targets — calories and macros computed from your height, weight, age and activity level. • Your day at a glance — meals grouped by time of day: breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner. • History you can revisit — 7 or 30 days with a chart, and past days you can still edit. • Weight tracking — a chart, a 7-day moving average and a kg/month trend, because a single weigh-in swings by a kilo or two and means nothing on its own. • Meal library — everything you add is remembered. A regular meal goes back in with one tap, no photo needed. 🔒 WHAT MIAM DOESN'T DO No account. No ads. No social feed, no badges, no streak to protect. Your log, your weight and your profile never leave your phone. Your meal photo is analyzed on the fly and never stored. Miam speaks English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese. 💚 WHAT'S PAID The AI photo scan is the only paid feature, because every analysis has a real cost: you get 10 scans to try it, then a subscription unlocks it — no commitment, cancel anytime on Google Play. Everything else is free, with no limits: food log, barcode scanner, manual entry, meal library, history and weight tracking. No ads. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW An estimate is an estimate. No photo reveals the oil at the bottom of the pan or the sugar hidden in a sauce — which is exactly why Miam asks questions, and why everything stays editable by hand. Think reliable order of magnitude, not laboratory measurement. Miam is a personal tracking app. It doesn't provide medical or nutritional advice and isn't a substitute for a healthcare professional.

What's new

🎯 Target weight Tell Miam where you want to land: it estimates when you'll get there from your real trend, shows what's left, and brings out the confetti the day you make it. ⚖️ Pounds, feet and inches Weight and height can show in lb and ft/in (Settings ▸ Units). 🥩 Raw or cooked, by doneness A rare steak doesn't lose as much water as a well-done one. The app now accounts for it. 📊 History Today is drawn on the chart, but no longer counted in the averages.
