Clock Hands: Learn Time is a calm, hands-on analog clock activity for children ages 5–9. A prompt such as 3:30 appears, and the child moves the hour and minute hands to make the clock match. PRACTICE STEP BY STEP • Whole hours • Half hours and quarter hours • 5-minute intervals • Exact minutes • Optional connection to 24-hour time BUILT FOR UNDERSTANDING The hour hand does not jump from number to number. It moves naturally as the minutes change, helping children understand why the hour hand sits between 3 and 4 at 3:30. Hints appear gradually and there is no stressful countdown or score penalty.
