Children learn words by using them to do something — choosing a lane, slicing letters, finding a clue. Practice is woven into the play, and Mitten quietly notices which words a child finds hard and brings them back later. YOUR OWN WORDS Add the words your child is working on this week — a spelling list, names of things around the house, whatever you like — and Mitten builds them into the play. VOCABULARY OR MATHS, IN YOUR LANGUAGE Practise English vocabulary, a second language, or number work — counting, adding up, times tables. Learn Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Malayalam and more inside a game about the things your child already loves. Each game shows which language it teaches.
