Full description
Mint Span turns a plain calendar grid into a date calculator. The main screen shows one month at a time as a proper grid, seven columns wide, weekends in a different colour so they always stand out. Tap a day for "from", tap another for "to", and everything in between lights up in mint. It does not matter which one you tap first — pick the later date if that is easier, and the totals still come out right, with a small note if "to" landed before "from". Once a range is picked, four numbers appear underneath: the calendar days between the two dates, the same span written as weeks and days, the working days in that stretch (Monday to Friday by default, with an option to count Saturday too), and a proper years-months-days breakdown worked out from the calendar itself rather than by dividing the day count by thirty. Leap years, short months and everything else about the calendar are handled the honest way. The second tab, Shift, answers a different question: what date do you land on if you move a given day forward or back by some number of days, weeks, months or years. Pick a base day on the same kind of grid, choose the unit, step the amount with plus and minus, and the result lights up right there next to the base date. Move a month past a short one and the app lands on the real last day of that month instead of rolling over into the month after — 31 January plus one month is the last day of February, not the third of March. Paging between months is two arrows for the month and two more for the year, plus a "today" button that jumps straight back to the current date without losing anything you picked. Which day starts the week, whether Saturday counts as a working day, and how dates are written out are all settings you choose once and the app remembers. Everything stays on the phone. No accounts, no sign-in, no network calls, no ads and nothing to buy. Features: - A real calendar grid, seven columns, weekends coloured differently - Tap twice to pick a range — order does not matter - Calendar days, weeks + days, workdays and years-months-days at once - Shift any date by days, weeks, months or years - Honest end-of-month handling: 31 Jan + 1 month lands on the real last day - Leap years worked out properly, not approximated - Choice of Monday or Sunday as the first day of the week - Optional Saturday as a working day for the workday count - Three date formats and a today button, fully offline
