Full description

Gal enhances your security while you travel. Wherever you are, Gal watches what's happening around you and tells you what matters - before it reaches you. WHAT GAL DOES • Real-time alerts. Protests, demonstrations, strikes and travel advisories near your location - reviewed by analysts, not crowdsourced rumours. • A live map. See what's active around you right now, and what's expected today and tomorrow. • A daily update. One message every evening at 20:00 your local time, so nothing catches you by surprise - even on a quiet day. • Emergency screen. Local police, ambulance and fire numbers for the country you're actually in, plus Israeli embassy details. Works offline, so it's there when you need it most. • SOS. One slide opens a chat with our duty team, who can see your live location and respond right away. • Hebrew and English, with full right-to-left support. WHY GAL NEEDS YOUR LOCATION Gal collects location data to warn you when you enter an area with an active safety alert - even when the app is closed or not in use. That is the whole point of the product: an alert that arrives after you've walked into the area is not an alert. You can see exactly what is shared, and turn it off at any time, in your device settings. Gal is provided to travellers through their organisation.

What's new

First release. Real-time safety alerts around you, a live map, an emergency screen with local numbers, and SOS to reach our duty team.
