THEN YOU CHOOSE After the gate, pick how long you're going in for: 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. When time's up, Pause steps in front of the app and asks if it was worth it. It asks for each one inside the app with a short guide. • Accessibility Service: to know which app is in front so the gate can appear when you open one you chose. Pause reads only the app's package name. It never reads messages, passwords, typed text, screen content, or audio. This check runs on your phone and is never uploaded. • Usage Access: a backup way to notice app opens if your phone's battery saver switches the accessibility service off. • Display over other apps: to show the gate on top of the app you opened. Turn any of these off in your phone's Settings at any time. Pause stays installed. The gates simply stop. PRIVACY Which apps you gate and when you open them stays on your device.
