MitGaujaAudio

MitGaujaAudio — Audio Guide for Paddlers on the Gauja The Gauja River carries centuries of stories: castle mounds, legends, old crossings, and quiet places most paddlers drift past without knowing. MitGaujaAudio brings them to life. As you float downstream, the river tells its own story — automatically, at the right spot, in your language. BUILT FOR THE WATER, NOT THE DESK There is no mobile coverage along most of the Gauja. That's why MitGaujaAudio is built to work completely offline. Download your route before you set off, and everything runs without a signal: audio, map, GPS points, and your trip progress. Once you're on the water, you don't need to touch anything. Large buttons, high contrast, and simple controls mean you can use it with wet hands, in bright sun, or through a waterproof bag. Lock-screen playback lets you keep the phone stowed and still hear every story as you reach it. HOW IT WORKS Pick your language, voice, and route Download it at home over Wi-Fi Paddle — stories play automatically by GPS Prefer to control it yourself? Play any stop manually anytime LANGUAGES & VOICES Enjoy the journey in Latvian, English, or German, each with its own narrators to set the mood. Switch anytime — the whole experience follows your choice. DESIGNED FOR REAL TRIPS Fully offline once downloaded — no signal required GPS-triggered stories that play at the right place Manual playback whenever you want it Clear, glanceable interface for use on the water Lock-screen and background audio control Lightweight downloads sized for a day on the river Whether you're paddling from Cēsis to Līgatne or exploring a longer stretch, MitGaujaAudio turns an ordinary trip down the Gauja into a guided journey through its history and legends. Download your route. Get on the water. Let the river do the talking.
