Full description
Linky Words is a daily word puzzle you play by linking letters. Trace a path across the grid and the letters you touch spell a word. Every level is a small grid plus a category, and the words hiding in it all belong to that category. Drag from one letter to the next - up, down, sideways or diagonally - and the trail spells out a word. The path can turn at every single letter, so a word can wind its way anywhere across the board. That is what makes this a different sort of word search: instead of scanning for straight lines you feel out where a word is able to bend. Clear every word in the grid and the level is solved. A new daily puzzle, every day The daily word puzzle is ten levels on one theme, and the same ten levels for every player in the world that day. Finish it and you get a spoiler-free result to share - one square per level, green when you solved it without a hint - along with your time and how many levels you cleared clean. It gives nothing away, so you can post it before your friends have played. Miss a day and you still have six more days to play it from the daily screen; on the seventh it moves to the archive, which runs all the way back to the first daily puzzle, on 1 September 2026. 32 categories to work through Classic: Animals, Art, Beach, Camping, Computers, Family, Food, Games, Languages, Maritime, Monsters, Science, Sports and Veggies. Geography: Countries, Capitals, Rivers, Mountains, Seas, Deserts and Islands. Mythology: Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian and Hindu. Word Origins: French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Arabic and Indian - English words grouped by the language they came from. That is more than 300 levels in total. Grids start at a gentle 3x3 and grow to 4x4 and 5x5, where a single board can hide a lot more than you expect. Play at your own pace No countdown, no move limit, no lives to run out. A word puzzle should be somewhere to think, not something that hurries you, so you can put it down mid-board and come back to it exactly as you left it. Once a puzzle has loaded it plays offline, which makes it good company on a commute or a flight. Warm paper colours and big, readable letter tiles keep it easy on the eyes. A timer does run while you play and your time is shown when you finish, but nothing is ever lost to the clock. Stuck on a board? A hint reveals one letter of a word you have not found yet, which is usually all it takes to see the rest. You collect hints just for opening the game each day, and the streak pays better the longer you keep it going. You can also watch a short video for more if you would rather not wait - entirely up to you, and never required to finish a level. English practice, honestly Linky Words is English spelling and word-recognition practice, not a language course. There are no lessons, no grammar and no translations: just real English words grouped by topic. Tracing a word letter by letter fixes how it is spelled. It suits beginner and intermediate levels. Ads and purchases Linky Words is free to play and shows ads: a banner while you play, and a full-screen ad after some boards. A single Remove Ads purchase takes both away for good. Hints are limited and can run out - earn them by playing, watch a short video, or buy a hint pack. Whether you have five minutes in a queue or an hour on the sofa, there is a word search to unpick and a daily word puzzle with your name on it. Download Linky Words and start linking letters.
