Full description
Most apps promise to make healthy eating easy. Metabyl doesn't. Metabyl is built on the mechanism that actually changes behavior: neuroplasticity. Repetition rewires what your brain treats as normal. Give it a steady rhythm — meals at consistent times, mostly whole food, protected sleep, intentional movement — and over weeks and months the off-pattern choices stop being the obvious ones. You're not "more disciplined." Your wiring is different. The first weeks take effort. We won't pretend otherwise. THE RULE OF METABOLIC LIFE Everything in Metabyl serves one repeatable pattern: • Eat within an hour of waking • Three meals, about five to six hours apart • Mostly C.L.E.A.N. food • Protein at every meal • Meet your water goal • Protect your sleep • Move on purpose That's the whole system. No calorie counting. No macro math. No weighing yourself. No scoreboard. WHAT THE APP ACTUALLY DOES A week of meals built around the Rule. Sized for your household, shaped by your allergies, your conditions, your kitchen, and how much time you actually have. Cook once, eat twice. One breakfast prepped for the week. Dinners sized so tomorrow's lunch is already handled. A shopping list you can trust. Tap any item to see exactly which recipes it came from and why the total is what it is. Leftovers are counted once, and the list shows its work. One search box. Ask for what you want in plain words — "sheet pan salmon, no dairy, under 30 minutes" — and get recipes that respect it. Bring your own recipes. Paste one, drop in a link, scan a photo, or import a whole Paprika library at once. Every recipe gets scored against the framework so you can see where it lands. A daily check-in that takes fifteen seconds. Seven behaviors, tapped once. Your day comes back as Kept, Mostly Kept, or Returning — because returning is the point, not the failure. Send your list to Kroger when you'd rather not shop. C.L.E.A.N. Clear of additives. Low glycemic. Eclectic. Anti-inflammatory. Non-processed. It's a food framework, not a restriction list — built to be cooked from every week, across cuisines, without boredom. WHO BUILT IT Metabyl was created by Michael W. Jones, DO, Dipl. ABOM, FAAFP — a board-certified obesity medicine physician — out of what he kept telling patients who didn't need another diet. They needed a rhythm they could live inside. RETURNING IS THE GENTLE WORD You will have hard weeks. Metabyl is built for that. A week off pattern isn't a streak you broke; it's a pathway you come back to, and every return makes the pattern easier to reach for. Metabyl offers educational and nutritional guidance. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for care from your own physician. Talk with your care team before changing your diet, especially if you manage a medical condition.

What's new

Christy found five things wrong in one evening of planning. All five are fixed. When you list ingredients, they get used. She asked for ground beef and got lamb and salmon - a leftover beef brisket had quietly satisfied the word "beef". Canned goods were skipped the same way. Lunches no longer claim to be leftovers of a dinner nobody cooked. Plus: day pickers say Thursday instead of Day 4, and you can mark a guest as bringing their own food.
