The event remains in your active list, always pointing forward, never becoming stale or expired. This feature is especially valuable for birthdays. Instead of creating a new countdown each year, you create one birthday event, enable yearly recurrence, and STS handles every future birthday automatically. Major recurring holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Halloween, also benefit from yearly recurrence. STS's holiday templates can be set to yearly during creation, making the setup a one-time step. No internet and no account needed. The yearly recurrence system runs entirely on your device's clock, updating quietly and accurately without any server communication.
