Mektep

Mektep is the meeting point for our community in Rijswijk. We have our weekly classes, Friday programs, youth activities, and we come together over a cup of tea. This app is designed to help you easily track your attendance. You take out your phone, check your attendance, and focus on the lesson. WHAT YOU CAN DO Check your own attendance When you are at Mektep during class time, the attendance card opens on the main page. With a single touch, you indicate your attendance. If it's not a class day or you've already checked your attendance, the app will clearly state your status. Collect points Every attendance earns you points. You get full points if you arrive on time, and fewer points if you are slightly late. You can see your total points and the points you earned this month in the My Account section. Your attendance is recorded Every attendance you take is regularly reported to our teachers. This way, your attendance is trackable for both you and Mektep. Use it in your own language The app is available in Turkish, Dutch, and English. You can change the language at any time from My Account > Settings. HOW TO GET STARTED 1. Create an account with your email address or sign in with your Google or Apple account in one touch. 2. Confirm your email address. 3. When you arrive at Mektep on your class day, open the app and take your attendance. OUR CLASS DAYS Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for men. Tuesday and Thursday for women. Our classes run year-round; there is no summer break. WHO IS IT FOR? For everyone who attends Mektep classes: teenagers, adults, men, and women. To create your account, simply be part of the Mektep community. PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT Your location is only used at the time of attendance to verify that you are near Mektep. There is no continuous tracking, no background location collection. When you turn on Anonymous mode, your name is hidden, and you appear as "Anonymous" in lists. You can permanently delete your account and all your data from within the application. If you encounter any problems or have any suggestions, tell us in class or write to us via mektep.nl. We look forward to hearing from you.
