Turn paper into searchable PDFs — without uploading anything. Most scanner apps send your receipts, contracts and medical papers to their servers. Folio keeps everything on your phone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan with automatic edge detection and straightening • Save as PDF or JPG, one page or many • Text is read automatically on your phone — copy it in one tap • Search inside all your scans: type a word, find the receipt • Organize scans in folders • Share to any app (email, WhatsApp, Drive…) • Lock Folio with your fingerprint or face • In English, Italian, French, Indonesian and Arabic WHY FOLIO IS DIFFERENT • No account: scan on first launch • No ads, no subscriptions • No cloud: Folio has no internet permission, so your documents cannot leave your phone • Text recognition runs on your phone (Google ML Kit) GOOD TO KNOW • Scanning uses the Google Play services document scanner. The first time, Google Play services may need a minute and an internet connection to set it up. • Text recognition reads Latin-script languages (English, Italian, French, Indonesian, Spanish, German and more). • Search inside your scans: type a word, find the document. • After saving, see the result right away, with the text found and quick Copy text / Scan another buttons. • A clear message if the scanner isn't ready yet. • Now in Italian, French, Indonesian and Arabic. • More private: Folio no longer has internet access at all. • Fixed: blank preview after "Extract text", page counts, Image Quality, PDF sharing, and Clear Cache deleting previews.
