Sta.Res

Sta.Res is the student accommodation app for South African university students. Find a room near your campus, apply in a few taps, and manage everything about your residence once you have moved in — all from your phone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Discover accommodation — Browse student properties linked to your institution, filter by location, price and room type, and save favourites to your wishlist. • Apply for a room — Submit a room application from your phone and follow it from submitted to approved, including funding-linked and NSFAS applications. • Book a viewing — Schedule a viewing of a property before you commit to it. • Report incidents and maintenance — Log a maintenance issue or incident, add photos, and track it through to resolution instead of chasing it by phone. • Book amenities — Reserve laundry slots, study rooms, gym time and other shared facilities in your building. • Stay informed — Receive notices from your property owner or institution across General, Activities, Transport, Sports and Emergency categories. • Chat — Message your roommates and your property owner directly in the app. • Marketplace — Buy and sell with other students in your residence community. • Documents — Upload and keep the documents your application needs in one secure place. • Works offline — Applications and incident reports you submit without signal are queued on your device and sent automatically as soon as you are back online. BUILT FOR STUDENTS The housing search is stressful enough. Sta.Res replaces scattered group chats, paper forms and long queues with one clear, reliable place to handle your accommodation — from your first search to your last maintenance request. Sta.Res is free to download. An account is required to use the app. Personal information is handled in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
