Medifoodz Sync — Glucose data for your Glyvance journey Medifoodz Sync is a free companion app for Glyvance customers. It pulls your FreeStyle Libre glucose readings into Health Connect on your Android phone, so the Glyvance app can use them automatically. How it works Your FreeStyle Libre sensor records your glucose throughout the day. Abbott's FreeStyle Libre app on your phone uploads those readings to Abbott's secure cloud. Medifoodz Sync reads from that cloud (using Abbott's free LibreLinkUp service) and writes the values into Health Connect. The Glyvance app then sees your readings the next time you open it. Two ways to keep your data flowing Auto-Sync — set it up once, then forget about it. The app checks for new readings about once an hour in the background. Manual CSV — once a week or so, download a CSV file from libreview.com and import it into the app. Slower, but completely hands-on with no extra account needed. The app reads directly from Abbott's LibreLinkUp service (your account, your credentials) and writes locally to Health Connect on your device. The Glyvance app reads from Health Connect, again locally. We can't see your data — only you and the apps you explicitly authorize on your phone can. Before you install You'll need: • An Android phone running Android 9 or newer (Health Connect is built in on Android 14+; older versions install it free from the Play Store) • A FreeStyle Libre sensor on your arm, actively measuring your glucose • The FreeStyle Libre / LibreLink app already installed and signed in • For Auto-Sync: a different email address than the one your FreeStyle Libre app uses Important: Medifoodz Sync is not a medical device This app is a data conduit. It does not measure your glucose, give medical advice, alert you to high or low readings, or replace your healthcare provider. Always rely on the FreeStyle Libre app, your healthcare team, and clinical guidance for medical decisions.
