Watch Party for YouTube

Watch Party lets you watch YouTube videos together with friends: the same video, at the same second, each on their own phone. HOW IT WORKS • Find a video in the YouTube app, tap Share and choose Watch Party. Or paste any YouTube link. • Send the invite link to your friends in any messenger. • Let them in, press play, and everyone watches in sync. MADE FOR WATCHING TOGETHER • Real sync: playback stays on the same second for everyone, with gentle speed adjustments instead of jumpy re-seeks. • You decide who comes in: anyone with the link can ask to join, and the host lets them in. • Pass the remote: make anyone in the party the host, or remove someone who shouldn't be there. • Perfect with a call: long-distance friends, family movie nights, watching a lecture together. • Full screen, playback speed and captions. • Friends on a computer can join the same party from the Chrome extension or right in the browser at sync.mbplanes.com. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up, no ads of our own, no tracking. • Parties are private rooms with long random invite codes. • Only what sync needs passes through our server: which video, where it is, and whether it's playing. GOOD TO KNOW • Videos are played by the official YouTube player. YouTube may show ads; when the host gets one, the party waits for it. • Some videos can't be played outside YouTube because their owner has turned it off. Pick another one, or watch it in the YouTube app. • Playback stops when you leave the app. The party carries on, and you catch up as soon as you're back. Watch Party is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
