Full description

SoundArc is a local sound-level meter for Android 12 and newer. It shows how loud your surroundings are in decibels — live, on the device, with no account and no ads. What you get • Live dB readout and a colour gauge (quiet / moderate / loud) • Everyday noise labels, from a quiet room to hearing-hazard levels • Min, average, and max for the current session, plus Reset • A two-second waveform of recent levels • Microphone calibration from −20 to +20 dB • Alert mode: choose a threshold and delay; optional tone, vibration, and a full-screen overlay • English and Russian follow the system language • Layouts for portrait and landscape Privacy Audio is processed in memory on the device. It is never stored or uploaded. The app has no internet permission. When alert mode is on, monitoring can continue in the background behind a persistent notification that you can stop at any time. Not a certified SPL meter. Use SoundArc as a relative indicator, not for legal, medical, or occupational measurements.
